World Peace Center

World Peace Center is a nonprofit, all-volunteer peace affiliate of The World Peace Prayer Society, Inc. Our philosophy is summarized in the following mission statement, which underlies all our activites:

"World Peace Center encourages people of all ages and cultures to respect life, to embrace compassion, to live in harmony with self and others, and to celebrate diversity rather than use it as a reason for conflict."

Self-supported and funded exclusively through volunteer involvement, we operate on a tiny budget and do not do fundraisers. 100% of all in-kind gifts we receive (e.g., laptops, portables, computers, and peripherals) go to promote and sustain free services that help people live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.

World Peace Center also partners with "Rec Mobile" and "Back on Track" of Clark County, Las Vegas. Our volunteers assist Clark County workers with co-creating field trips for inner city youth and with with gang invenvention for youths at risk. If you are interested in volunteering for a worthy cause, working with at risk kids, offering technical computer support, donating used computer equipment to Laptops of Love, or directing a comment toward one of our programs or activities, please access any of the links below or to the left.

The effectiveness of World Peace Center's volunteer programs depends on the generous support of businesses and individuals just like you. We neither solicit nor accept financial aid, but we do welcome volunteer involvement and in-kind donations. All goods and services are greatly appreciated and are acknowledged immediately upon receipt. At the moment, BTW, we are in need of a working sound system.
